BEFORE THE BOND,THERE WAS WINDOPEN.
Windopen is not defined by a single kingdom or one elemental force. Its identity comes from invisible currents that move through the world and the lives within it.
Sky, heat, water, earth, shadow, motion, thought, restoration and countless smaller forces existed before Soulbonds were recorded. Connection gave those forces a new way to awaken.

The current of movement. Aerwyn follows the forces that pass unseen through open sky, carrying speed, pressure, mist, storm, and the freedom of motion.

The current of intensity. Vulkara gathers the Soulbonds whose Attributes burn, ignite, transform, and overwhelm through heat and destructive force.

The current of flow. Neravia moves between force and restoration, carrying tides, frost, purification, pressure, and the memory of water.

The current of growth. Terraven is rooted in stone, soil, plants, terrain, protection, and the living systems that endure across Windopen.

The Veilborn
Shadow / Void / Mind
The current beyond the visible. Noctyra touches shadow, perception, memory, dreams, distance, and the uncertain spaces between thought and reality.

LIFE INCONNECTION.
A Soulbond does not erase either identity. Bound and Stray remain two distinct lives. What changes is the connection between them — and what that connection is capable of awakening.
Core Principle
TWO IDENTITIES REMAIN.ONE POWER AWAKENS BETWEEN THEM.
BOUND
The human identity within a Soulbond. The Bound remains an individual even after the connection awakens.
STRAY
The companion identity within a Soulbond. Every Stray retains its own nature, species, and presence.
SOULBOND
The connection between Bound and Stray — the relationship through which an Attribute can awaken.
SOULBOUND
The state of a Bound and Stray after the connection forms. Two identities remain; the bond exists between them.
ATTRIBUTE
The power awakened through the Soulbond, shaped by the nature of the connection between Bound and Stray.
